Zack Snyder's live commentary of BvS brought back the usual trolls full force so in the spirit of not losing ourselves in their negativity, I thought it would be nice to remember that the *actual* women who've worked with the man have nothing but respect for him. #ZackSnyder
" for me, the beauty of working with friends is that someone can call you up and be like -I'd love for you to come and do this part for 2days- and you're like -Yeah. Awesome- . ZS and I really love working together and get along and have very similar work ethics " - Jena Malone
"It's the best experience I've ever had working on a film and I think that's to do with him. He's such a positive energy and attitude towards filmmaking [...] He wants everybody to be happy and having a good time."

“At one point I was [doubting that I would continue with acting] and this film is the one that’s brought me back [...] I have faith in this industry, if a movie making experience can be this positive & this much fun, then I can’t imagine ever doing anything else” - Emily Browning

"Working with Zack is amazing, he's so easy to work with, he 's such a good director, he knows what he wants to get [...] He's so women friendly, he's very into women empowerment, & I think that for him, it's very important to show a strong female on the big screen" - Gal Gadot
( I think at this point, Gal's love for Zack is obvious and undisputable. Like Emily Browning, he gave her her love for acting back, but if anyone wants a link to the interview, then here you go -> )

And last, but no least, here's the opinions of some of the actresses portraying the Amazons in Justice League after the whole "bikini" fiasco.
It's interesting to note that in the actual scenes of the movie, the Amazons are covered as much as they were in WW. The only time we get full body shots is when they're supporting the pillars to give their Queen the time to escape.
They're in pain, push their bodies to their limits, and overall, are heroic af. So I fail to see how Zack Snyder sexualized these women exactly, in fact, the Amazons' scenes are part of the few moments worth watching in Justice League *shrugs* Anyway.
"My scene didn’t make the final cut of the movie, but that doesn’t change the relationship I have with the part and my experience as a female on set. I loved it, I felt empowered. I looked around and saw strong women who are proud of their bodies and their abilities" - Erin Blevis
She's... really vocal in her defense of Zack Snyder and her experience on the set of Justice League lmfao https://twitter.com/jayde_ram/status/931031468180164613?s=20
"I was overjoyed with the mobility I had and NEEDED to complete the moves asked of me." - Samantha Win

"I have never felt more empowered than I have on Zack Snyder's sets." - Samantha Win https://twitter.com/Sam_Antha_Win/status/930557775633006592?s=20
"I was personally very happy when Michael offered up solutions for my JL costume that made me the most comfortable in my work and confident in my body. He asked - So is everything feeling okay? Do you feel good? - And I did, I still do." - Samantha Win
Empowerment. Respect. Joy. Positive energy. Those are words that are often used to describe Zack Snyder. I think it says a lot when all the women he's worked with are going out of their way to praise him and even defend him.
That doesn't mean you have to like his style of filmmaking. Not at all. But the vitriol this man has been getting for the past 7yrs is disheartening, especially when it comes from self claimed "feminists" who have no problem disregarding the actresses' experiences on his sets.
It blows my mind that in a world like Hollywood where directors often take advantage of their positions to abuse their actresses, Tarantino&O'Russell to name a few, internet decided to go after Zack Snyder. A man whose only crime has been to show his own vision of Superman.
