☄️AN ASTRO THREAD: Here lies my exploration of the lunar mansions captured within the hidden energies of the “27 Club.”
“Anything that has to do with money, I want to be in that business” -Robert Johnson (May 8 1911-August 16 1938) A.K.A “The root source for a whole generation of blues & rock n roll.”
Johnson taught us what it meant to play the guitar with extreme hypnotizing emotion. With records like “Cross Road Blues” & “Meeting with the Devil” suggest the resurfacing of a perpetuating cursed energy started here.
Due to his moon being in Uttara Phalguni, he thirsted for creation. Much like how women can create life & birth generations, Robert Johnson’s soul wanted to birth a legacy through creation.
This energy has the potential to be very pleasing but the key to its longevity is its source of inspiration. We can only assume his source was tainted since rumors of his creation poisoned him quite literally.
But isn’t it interesting that he did in fact birth a legacy but a poisonous one due to the untimely death of our cultural angels? R.I.P to all 💐
“Jimi Hendrix was the most exciting guitarist I’ve ever heard” -Brian Jones (February 28 1942-July 3 1969) A.K.A. One of the founders of The Rolling Stones.
He was one of the first people in Britain to play the slide guitar. His love for the blues connected him to the most influential band in history.
What I find interesting is that the very song he was playing when Mick & Keith discovered him was “Dust My Broom” by Elmore Jame’s. This is one of the songs that made it onto Robert Johnson’s Legacy Playlist.
With moon in Rohini he hungered for attention. Not in a shallow sense, but in order to be inspired Jones needed water
to grow. The energy that inspires these natives is encouragement in order to continue to be motivated.
Apparently, Jones wasn’t happy with the direction the band was heading and went his own way. The ending of his death to me symbolizes how he was drowning in an empty vessel of admiration that made him question his motive, leaving him still.
“When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace” - Jimi Hendrix (November 27 1942-September 18 1970) A.K.A. The greatest instrumentalist in the history of Rock music.
Hendrix psychedelic soul mastered the mixing of blues, jazz, r&b, pop and rock. This blend was like medicine, inspiring musicians to think differently.
So fitting for Pushya moon meaning nurturer. His music nurtured so many awakening life in mundane days. Here the mind focuses its attachment to all things and wants to expand them, similar to a mother feeding her child to grow up strong.
Often times the nurturer can be left ill nourish. It was stated that he was overworked and tired and struggled with many health issues.
“You can destroy your now by worrying about tomorrow.”
-Janis Joplin (January 19 1943-October 4 1970) A.K.A The Queen of Rock & Roll.
Her passion brought people together and she gave a voice to women who wanted to be more then just obedient. She also found peace in the blues and looked up to Bessie Smith.
Her Ardra moon allowed her 2 cleanse the negative energy that seemed so dense and serious in her time. Ardra energy catapults liberation and creation to be diverse and accepted for what it is. This energy of destruction can either be used to destroy negativity or it can destroy u
“When you make your peace with authority, you become the authority.” - Jim Morrison (December 8 1943-July 3 1971) A.K.A Skilled vocalist of the rock band Doors.
Jim Morrison was a poet who had the ability to bring light to shadows we didn’t even know lingered behind us.The Mystical side of things are highlighted through his stage presence and sound. This energy carried onto his death as things still feel uncertain.
A Bharani moon native has the ability to transform things. This placement allows the mind to soak in dense energy and understand it then transform it. Determined and willing to create and prosper.
Jim Morrison had the ability to transform energy at his concerts casting almost a spell to release pent up emotions and feel the vibration of freedom.
“I’m not a black artist, I am an artist” -Jean-Michel Basquiat (December 22 1960-August 12 1988) A.K.A Cultural Icon
The beautiful Shatabhisha moon
glows the healing light of wisdom. An indication of transcendence and Kundalini awakening happens here. Basquiat becomes a guru teaching society the royalty of African descent.
The awakening of such power can cause a soul to descend if not channeled and mastered.
“Dreaming of the person you want to be is wasting the person you already are.” -Kurt Cobain(February 20 1967-April 5 1994) A.K.A Singer of the rock band Nirvana.
Nirvana gave a scene to punk rock and showed the world what it meant to not care about what others want but to only care about what you want.
The second, now pair of Ardra Natives on this list. Fitting due to the deity history of Rudra. An Ardra moon makes for something entirely new and fresh. Like the dew in the morning Kurt Cobain’s Music was like a breath of fresh air allowing you to feel things you needed 2 express
With a Shatabhisha sun he truly made magic. Mastery of creation.
“Every bad situation is a blues song waiting to happen” -Amy Winehouse(September 14 1983-July 23 2011) A.K.A for her unique voice and jazz style
Her Mula moon craved for something deeper. She found this in her music as it became the most important form of her self expression. The energy here is abrupt and one may want to escape from it.
One has to be deconstructed and must surrender in order to reach the clearing of illusion that can be reached with this placement.
Their inspiration bleeds through every piece of art. A prayer to our cultural angels 🥀
