I don't think I have much ability and talent which has often prevented me from writing more or pushed me to try write better

I have fairly modest writing ambitions which I'm sure my younger self would be disappointed by. It becomes a problem when I review the work of someone who wants to be a literary juggernaut because they assume I want to dunk on them to uplift myself

Not all the time but sometimes. I guess people aren't privy to your personal goals so they'll use their own as some sort of metric here. Anyway, this thread should've been written in my diary but it's in my bedroom and I'm lazy to get it. So here we are
