Exactly 24hrs later around 8AM this morning she was back,I had kept the windows open from 6. Looks like she came just to check if everything was in order-Did the human mess with my artful creation and my eggs or are they doing OK?

Now, I decided to park myself here with my work because I had a feeling she would be back, but of course no idea when.I dashed between making b'fast and peeping every few secs. Of course, exactly when I had to flip the dosa on the pan, she came back, and I got her just in time+

She got herself quite a haul! What looks like a looper caterpillar that she's paralysed. Clearly the caterpillar didn't do a very good job of camouflaging. The next time she comes back is almost 4 hrs later, no food in store, but she does something interesting - see from (:11).+

Is she rechecking if it's still paralysed? Is she packing her eggs closer to or putting them on the caterpillar? I wish we could see what's going on inside! Will she finally seal her pot tomorrow or bring more paralysed insects or spiders? I know what time and where to wait...

Day 3,4 update so far: I realised that when I left the room for a little while (you know,one needs to eat,brush teeth,wash the piling up vessels etc...) our madam managed to sneak in a large green caterpillar. This I discovered last night when I casually peeked into her pot+

And early this morning I was greeted by this slightly macabre though exciting sight. The Tapinoma ants(zoom in) are mobbing the caterpillar and all over the nest. I'm waiting for our wasp to come back - armed and ready to fight hopefully.

And, she's back,~same time as yesterday morn. And she's not very pleased. The caterpillar was shoved back in, I missed capturing that bit unfortunately, but she's really going for those pesky ants.
