Some people in public health - Whitty, Vallance, Van Tam, etc. - have bolstered their reputations in recent weeks. Other people, such as the editor of The Lancet, not so much.
I don't see any way to interpret that tweet other than that he's making fun of someone for having COVID-19. Am I missing something? Is there a more charitable interpretation?
