Suggestions on Zoom usage

Avoid sharing your meeting link on Social Media or other Public Forums, as that makes your event extremely public and allows anyone with the link to join the meeting.

Avoid using your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) to host public events. Rather use the randomly generated meeting IDs for such events.

Enable the “Waiting Room” feature which stops any unwanted guests from joining the meeting until you Admit them into your meeting.

Setup Screen Sharing settings to allow "Hosts Only" to share their screens, so as to prevent any unwanted screen sharing.

Enable settings to allow only registered and authenticated users to join your meetings.
Disable "Join Before Host" setting, so that people can't cause trouble before you join.

Prevent Participants from transferring files by disabling "File Transfer" feature, so that there is no malicious file sharing.
Until it's required, mute the participants, disable video and chats for the participants.

Enable "Co-Host" feature to also allow others to help moderate the meeting.

"Lock" your zoom meeting once all the attendees have arrived.
Identify the problem visitor and "Remove" them or "Lock them" out from the meeting.

In case of any emergency, shutdown the meeting by clicking on "End Meeting" and then set-up a new meeting URL that is shared only with the intended participants.
