1) A CIVILIAN HERO! 🇺🇸 Remembering Arthur J. Clarke from Chicago, Illinois, an American civilian who played his part in defeating tyranny.
2) During World War II, this loving husband and devoted father was in Northern Ireland, working as an accessory mechanic for Lockheed Martin Corporation, (U.S. War Department contracts).
3) Lockheed reassembled, modified, repaired and tested aircrafts that were then issued to British and American squadrons. On November 26,1943, Arthur was returning to his post on a bicycle when he got hit by a vehicle.
4) Critically injured in the accident, Arthur died at only 26 years-old. He is now resting in peace at the Cambridge American Cemetery in England. R.I.P.
