I don’t want to be a wanker, but a huge part of why everyone is feeling so overwhelmed is because any mindfulness about the content we consume has gone out the window. Would you usually find 10 PTs to workout with, or spend 9 hours a time on your phone?
No. Curate your info sources, choose when to access them. Set clear boundaries about when you are not contactable. It’s sad to see so many people feeling overwhelmed and I honestly think a lot of it is down to layering abnormal tech behaviour on top of an already odd situation
Stick with the trainers whose classes you would usually attend, choose your news source and check it once a day. Set aside clear time to speak to people. Set your alarm. Make your bed. Find little slices of normal, I promise it helps.
