I just wanna say something about the contents of this thread and I respect this persons opinion. There's no hate intended for this thread. First of all #istandwiththepresident and I fully respect the opinions of other people.++

I am fully aware that everyone is on full alert because of this serious virus and many people are worried because of certain things. I just want to address that the Philippine Government might be vicious but it's not fully incompetent because if it is Philippines would suffer++

worse. A lot of people, mostly in the northern PH though not all, are complaining because of lack of relief goods. To tell you honestly, people from the south, like my family, haven't even got at least one relief good and until now we're still waiting++

because they told us to wait. We patiently follow rules and wait for help to avoid the spread of virus. Northern PH was given the privilege to have the goods first because they mostly come first rather than other provinces in the south where the most poor people reside.++

As you can see in the video in the thread it was really chaotic and the authorities we're using force to arrest people, but if you look in the bigger picture those people were also at fault for not following the laws that were given. I mean would you sacrifice your health for++

just one relief good? Would you sacrifice the lives of the other people just for you to get one relief good? What if you get one and then still suffer because you got affected by the virus? The military was using force because people started to use force first. I mean think of++

it, military wont use force if those people were just well mannered in asking for those relief goods. Military had to do their job to stop this virus from spreading. First rule is social distancing and military is one of the frontliners so let that sink in. ++

According to the news I've watched the other day, the reason why there is a lack of supplies is because local gov't from other cities ban trucks and cargos that contain the suppiles from entering their city to avoid the virus and the national gov't address this by stating++

"Let those trucks and cargos in so that the we won't lack relief goods". Somewhat along those lines I understood that it is hard to transport supplies that's why supplies are lacking. If people just waited patiently for the supplies then they wouldn't be detained. ++

Another thing is the issue about what Duterte said during the national presidential addresses. If you watched or read the whole video or article then you would know that he was addressing those threats to npas not the Filipino communities. ++

Again, please look at the bigger picture first and confirm such statements before jumping into conclusions. Duterte is know for his attitude and I know even though his strict and says a lot of vicious things, He will do everything to protect people not just from this virus++

but also from these people who are using this virus as a way to take advantage of the people and be corrupt. Duterte is not dumb and I know that because he was a great leader to Dabawenyos. Not that dabawenyos are bias but they know how Digong works as a leader.++

That vicious attitude of the President made Davao the city where people value discipline over freedom. I'm sure those other politicians will get what they deserve. No need to rush because we will fight this virus patiently and live. ++

Frontliners from the south also lack supplies more than the frontliners from the north but they patiently wait to avoid the spread of the virus. I hope those people at home just relaxing and doing nothing will stop complaining.++

Frontliners are doing their best and we all know that. Kudos to those frontliners who still work to help the Filipinos despite the deadly virus. It is hard battling this virus and we want to thank you all for still working for the Filipinos.++

I'm not hating anyone but I just want to voice out my knowledge about this issues and I totally respect every opinion out there. I just wish people would just cooperate with the gov't so that this virus can be stop as soon as possible.++

Again, I respect this persons opinion and have no hate or whatever. I'm simply putting out my own opinion and I hope people would respect that. Please look at the bigger picture and think again. #istandwiththepresident
