Check out the most beautiful model for @Nike Korea: Shim Suk-hee - Rape survivor and Olympics gold medalist in speed skating. Last year, she came forward revealing that she's been repeatedly raped and beaten by her coach ever since she's seven.
Skorean ice skating circle is very small and connection-driven so Shim #METOO -ing her coach (of 14 years) must have took a lot of courage, and risk. The letters on the photo say "I believe in OUR power." This Nike ad is so powerful it's giving me a burst of energy and hope
This was @Nike Korea's ad last year featuring women from all walks of life and i loved it so much I think I replayed the vid like ten times! Check out the last few shots of the video. Absolutely powerful! #NIKEKOREA really knows what's up🔥
Some might be wondering why I am so touched by seeing an ATHELETE on a SPORTS ad. Sports ads in Korea usually feature flawless skinny women w misogynistic tag-lines sometimes. Not to pick on Son Na-eun but here's the latest Adidas ad. A stark contrast https://bit.ly/2UXAHRw
Check out these two ads for women’s boxer briefs. Wordings and images really really matter. Unfortunately, most ads here resemble a left one.
