This was a comic an artist and poet in residence did for a conference that I did a couple years back now! This was a side project I did on the (dark) geo-cultural-heritage of volcanoes in the Caribbean and Europe. Volcanoes have so many positives and negatives...
Volcanoes destroy and create. But my focus is more on the less “visible” and intangible impacts. I’m more interested in the social, cultural, economic and political factors that is a bit harder to get solid clear evidence on (compared to data collected in STEM fields for example)
