On why the U-23 lost 4-1 to Togo, @sikiru16 said "Late preparation cost us that game we got to camp late and you know the league wasn't on so most of us were just playing friendlies and pre-season tournaments to keep fit. We scored first and boom we lost concentration".

On why @sikiru16 went awol to seal a move to Turkey before his recent move, "We had champions league 1st leg coming so I asked for advice on what to do because I was confused.Told myself it's best I grab it so I went for it but unfortunately things didn't work out like I desired.

On if Coach Gernot Rohr gives NPFL players fair chance, @sikiru16 "We have lots of good players in the league if given the opportunity they will do well in the national team like Gbolahan Salami, Azubuike Egwueke, Sunday Mba etc they were given the opportunity and they took it. "

As a striker, @sikiru16 was asked to compare himself with Ighalo, Osimhen if he is that good or better "Everyone has his own qualities and techniques we are different but I know if given the opportunity I'll have to prove myself to Nigeria. They have made a name for themselves.
