The top US general in South Korea, @DogFaceSoldier, says he does not accept North Korea’s claim that it has no coronavirus cases.

“I can tell you that is an impossible claim based on all of the intel that we have seen,” Abrams told VOA and CNN in a joint interview Thursday.
"We’re not going to reveal our sources and methods. (But) that is untrue. How many, I couldn’t tell you," Gen. Abrams said of North Korea's claim that it is virus-free.
“But I do know by their actions that for about 30 days in February, early March, that their military was locked down. And they took draconian measures at their border crossings and inside their formations to do exactly what everybody else is doing, which is stop the spread."
On the US-ROK cost-sharing deadlock that resulted in the furlough of over 4,000 Korean workers on US bases, Abrams says: "In the middle of this (pandemic), it’s really heartbreaking...nobody envisioned this. Nobody wanted this. It’s personal. They’re not faceless people."
On whether USFK can handle major furloughs in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic, Abrams said:

“I don’t have a choice. I have to deal with it. This is all of our responsibilities as commanders. This is part of our duties and responsibilities."
