the people who send death threats to creators because they (the creator) did something to their favourite character or ship or whatever is disgusting. idc what their skills as a writer are, whether theyâre novice or an expert, or the genre theyâre writing for, etc
creators can kill off/bring back/do whatever to do their characters. itâs THEIR story and THEIR characters. also, just bc they may show controversial themes in their content does NOT always mean they condone/romanticize said themes!
p*dophilia, mental illnesses, EDs, etc., they all exist in the real world. a creator isnât problematic for simply having sensitive topics in their works! as long as theyâre not openly romanticizing or supporting these things, then it doesnât matter!
people got mad at V*ltron staff and even the CAST (who had hardly ANY influence, if any at all, on the showâs plot) for various reasons (like Allura being killed off, kl*nce/sh*ith not being canon), at Horikoshi various times over BNHA, and others. itâs fucking ridiculous.
a series not going the way you want it to does NOT allow you to be a fucking asshole. it is NOT your creation. it is NOT your work. make your own fucking content and leave!! creators!! alone!!

I cannot imagine what it must be like to be freely creating your own world, which is like your child, and being threatened or told to die because I did something MY way. to any and all creators whoâve experienced this, Iâm so sorry.
yes, Iâm bringing this shit up again because of (some, not all) KNY fans. it applies to a lot of different fandoms/content/subjects though
