i love zoo negara. i appreciated the passionate zookeepers, vets, etc that i have worked with. i learned so much from them about captive wildlife & ex situ conservation.

but i will not stand to watch how injustice is possible here.

hence they need to hire the right people. they need to adopt models of international zoos like Zoo Singapore or zoos in New York.

they need to contribute more to conservation. the HQ of Wildlife Conservation Society is literally in the Bronx Zoo. there is hope.

FYI, Zoo Negara is not under the government okay. it’s under an NGO called the Malaysian Zoological Society.
