Some of today's NBA players could only aspire to be Michael Jordan stepping out of a Ferrari 512 TR (with the personalised plates "M - AIR - J"), stogie in hand, flanked by security, levels of cool.
That Ferrari Testarossa set the GOAT back some pocket change to the tune of $212k.

The 512 TR was in production from 1992 to 1996. More than 10,000 512s were made during its production. The car still holds it value to this day.
The yellow jacket cladded security consisted of off-duty Chicago PD officers. One of those men was former narcotics squad officer, John Michael Wozniak. He told a story to Complex in 2016 of the time MJ took the security detail to get inked...

H/T: @MatthewJWelty
Mr Wozniak (who passed away in Janurary) travelled with Jordan and his family nationwide and as far as Paris and later on handled security at Jordan's gated property in Highland Park.

Earlier today, Jordan's son Jeffrey posted a photo in honor of his Dad's friend.
In 2016, Jordan Brand released the Pinnacle capsule that included these windbreakers inspired by the ones the security guys wore.

And because I'm a sucker for nostalgia, I just bought one for when I walk the dog.
