Where do you park a whole bunch of Qantas and Virgin planes not flying because of coronavirus?

I'm glad you asked ✈️ @abcnews [THREAD]
(cont.) ✈️ We know tens of thousands of Qantas and Virgin staff have been stood down, but hundreds of their planes are also not taking to the skies with international fleets grounded and domestic services slashed.
(cont.) ✈️ 170 Qantas and Jetstar planes will be parked up by the end of April - the bulk of those sitting on the tarmac at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Avalon Airports, while a few remain overseas.
(cont.) ✈️ Sydney Airport is discussing with up to 8 different airlines about parking options, and is offering free parking away from their terminals - allowing the few flights still operating to park at the terminal buildings.
(cont.) ✈️ Brisbane Airport is expecting up to 100 aircraft could be parked on its property. It's even converted one of its old runways into extra parking spots. It's not charging companies for the privilege. (📷 c/o Brisbane Airport)
(cont.) ✈️ Hobart Airport has been approached to help, but hasn't got any planes parked there yet. Perth Airport has leasing arrangements in place.
(cont.) ✈️The thing I found most interesting - did you know there's a special aircraft parking hub in Alice Springs? It's called the Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage facility, and there are a number of planes from a range of airlines already there.
(cont.) ✈️ Defence says it doesn’t have any commercial aircraft parked on RAAF bases at the moment. [ENDS]
