Section 31 is also interested in the Klingon forces mounting at the Beacon and dispatches Reed to monitor. He understands the potential threat, but is concerned what S31s response may be if the Klingons become warbound. Reed stops by the 1970's for cheese & pineapple on a stick.

Section 31 also activate Klingon variant Tyler, as he can legitimately respond to the Beacon. Time fracture distortion means VoQ is also there, but he has no idea who Tyler is! Tyler gathers vital intelligence from VoQ, while beating him in a Paper, Bat'Leth, Targ tournament.

Trip was visiting T'Pol on Vulcan but all transports back to Earth have been cancelled! The High Council degree that, in order to curb Conspiracy Parasite infections, everybody must stay in their homes! Trip wonders if he can escape by breaking the fourth wall, but you stop him.

Reed & Tyler are nested on board a warbird, deep in Klingon territory. They hatch a plan to send their scrambled intel to Uhura who is adept at cracking codes. They lay it on the line; if the Klingons initiate subspace shelling they may be particularly hard to beat.

An impressive display of knives & stabbing weapons catches Reed's eye. The Klingons are using the blades to cut Conspiracy Parasites out of infected hosts. The survival rate of this surgery is almost zero! Plus the Surgeon almost invariably eats the parasite! Try not to Gagh!

Data analyses time fracture data. He's struggling to bring together the various information threads into one singular narrative that comprehensively explains every plot development thus far. He informs the crew that he expects at least seven more months of time fracture nonsense.

As Data explains his findings, he deals out Tongo cards to the elite crew he has assembled from across time. A Star Trek superhero squad Data names 'The Consortium', gathered to eradicate the time fracture threat. Data begins introducing the group and issues their codenames...
