I’m gonna speak my experience as a Muslimah. I was raised by religious parents. Alhamdulilah all my sisters were given the same opportunities like our brothers to go to school and also Islamic madarasa during the weekend, But not every Muslim girl had the same privilege.
Alhamdulilah I was able to complete my masters degree when I was 22 years old in UK. Remember I grew up in Kenya not in the west. I also have met 30 year olds who are pursuing their GED because they were denied education back home. It’s real guys, we can’t just blame each other.
When someone shares their opinions about a certain topic, let’s not attack them. Let’s correct each other and have meaningful conversation. You might be surprised but there are 20 year olds in the west, denied to pursue highereducation. It breaks my heart.
Everyone didn’t have the same Islamic teacher. Alx I had teachers who speak highly of prominent women like Aisha RA, Fatima RA, Khadija RA, Asiya RA. The same teachers told us “there is more women in hell, also told us about how girls opened the door of jannah for their parents.
They also taught us “paradise lies under the feet of our mothers.” Alhamdulilah, Islamic is perfect but muslims are not perfect. Women in Islamic are regarded high, we have rights over our parents, our children, spouses. My sisters know your rights!
It’s not a competition about which gender will have more people in jannah. Everyone please work for your Akhirah. You see, more people are dying everyday. No sheikh or human can take away your rights. Men sin, women sin, we all sin. Islam showed us the right path, follow it.
If you have questions about the deen, seek answers from the scholars. Don’t rely on people who have no knowledge in Islam. Even though I studied Islam, I feel like my knowledge is zero but Alhamdulilah I know my rights as a Muslim.
I can never question what is in the holy quran and Hadiths of prophet Muhammad but I can question what a shiekh said about women in Islam. Everything about women and men are clear. Refer to the Islamic books.
And lastly, I’m so worried about my own sins, I can’t judge others. All I see on my TL is death, Sub7anAllah. May Allah forgive our sins, shortcomings and take us when HE is pleased with us, Ameen. May Allah reward jannah to everyone we have lost and May HE heal the sick, Ameen🤲🏾
