In place of the banquet this year, our awards will be announced through Twitter!! I wish I could have given you guys everything we had planned to make your achievements feel even more special. That being said, I am so proud of how far everyone has come this year. We have grown-

-as a community, students, athletes, friends, and as a family. Becoming NAIA was a big step/ change for TMU and I would say that the athletes stepped up the plate with clear eyes and full hearts.

We had 5 Individuals qualify for NAIA Nationals and two teams. Annabelle Clayton (XC), Shelby Miller (Swim), Jacob Steinmetz (T&F) Wilder Wichman, Avery Jones, & James Caniglia (Wrestling), and both M&W B-ball teams before the rona hit.

We had two Honorable Mention All-Americans, Emily Schultz & Ryan Batte (W&M Baskestball) and two first team All-Americans Shelby Miller (Swimming) & Mitchell Hogue (football)

Now for the Individual awards!!! (I just wanted to give a few shoutouts first)

Men’s Most improved Team goes to —Wrestling!!!

Women’s Most Improved Team goes to— Women’s Soccer!!

Men’s Saints Award goes to— Mitchell Hogue!! Mitchell achieved an academic All-American for the 2019-2020 season!!

Women’s Saints Award goes to— Jenna Squires !!!

Athletic Trainer of the year goes to — Erica Knollman — I don’t have a picture of Erica, but here’s a gif that seems accurate

Biggest upset of the year goes to — Men’s Basketball over Georgetown!!

Followed up with the Coach of the year award to Men’s Basketball Coach Justin Ray !!

Men’s Individual Performance goes to— Da’marco Canty!!

Women’s Individual Performance goes to — Alix DeDreu!!

Men’s Senior of the Year — NAIA Qualifier & Top 12 finalist, Jacob Steinmetz!

Women’s Senior of the Year goes to — Honorable Mention All - American, 1000th point club, Emily Schultz!!

Men’s Most Valuable Player — Kyle Alexander !!

Women’s Most Valuable Player — NAIA Qualifier, finalist and First-Team All- American, Shelby Miller!!

Men’s Rookie of the Year — Reid Jolly!!

Women’s Rookie of the Year — Ryann Meddings!!

The Men’s Academic Achievement award goes to— Keith Orloff with a GPA of 3.959!!

Last but not least, the Women’s Academic Achievement award goes to— Lacey Pohlman with a GPA of 4.0!!!
