Alright, seasonal anime impressions time, get ready to complain about my bad taste.
Brand New Animal:
Without a doubt, this show looks fantastic, as is to be expected from a Yoh Yoshinari series. That being the case, the premiere for this show paints in broad strokes and doesn't do enough to establish strong, driven characters. I'll be giving it a chance, tho.

Tower of God:
Same issues as above. There's lots of little idiosyncrasies that I like here, but the world is hardly set-up at all, and I'm given very little reason to be invested in Bem's goals or desires. Unfortunately, this one is gonna be a drop.

Tamayomi:
Kind of the reverse. This show looks pretty bad, but I like baseball, and the main two characters are given real, meaningful reasons to connect and seek to improve. It's boring when not focusing on baseball though, so the baseball:not baseball ratio will be vital.

Kakushigoto:
Favorite premiere of the season thus far. Kumeta's comedy writing is simply some of the best, and the anime does a skillful job at replicating his fantastic design work, albeit perhaps not *quite* as impressive as Shaft's work on SZS was.

Arte:
Totally competent at what it is. Not positive it'll make it all the way(in fact, I suspect it won't), but it's a solid first episode.
