There are a lot truths that are simultaneously true about NT Wright:

1) NT Wright is grossly misread/not actually read by a large portion of the Reformed community.

2) NT Wright purposefully makes over generalized and provocative statements to elicit a reaction.
3) Because NT Wright is grossly mis/not read, his fans will defend him against any critique coming from a systematic/Reformed view.

4) Just because the Reformed community often mis/doesn’t read NT Wright doesn’t mean that their critiques always miss the mark.
Now. Do with this what you will. Probably, in any given Wright kurfuffle, all four of these aspects are in play. He's probably gonna be misread. That might be his intention. There might be some critiques that are valid, and some that aren't.
One thing is for sure. His work is made for the chaos of Twitter, but it's probably best to wrestle it in other arenas.
