It's an odd time to be in digital marketing.

- People are spending more time online than ever
- Businesses have slashed their online marketing budgets
- Customers aren't ready to buy right now (niche dependent)

This presents an interesting opportunity...
Right now there's less competition on Facebook & Google, which means lower ad costs.

So if you work in a niche where people aren't buying, now is a great time to grow your marketing funnels.

So you can remarket to people when things improve and they are ready to buy.
Example of how you could do this for a local hairdresser.

Do a free webinar on 'how to cut your own hair' which requires email sign up.

Share on local FB groups/run local FB ads.

Builds relationship + when things get back to normal, you have a database you can remarket to.
For restaurants, similar to the above.

Maybe give away the 'secret' to one of your most popular dishes so people can make it at home.

(In exchange for an email address of course).
Travel is probably the most difficult at the moment.

I would probably pivot to something around

- Staycations
- Travel guides for 2021
- Bucket lists

I do not work in any of these industries FYI, I'm just sharing whatever enters my mind.
