Today I walked past the birthplace & home of one of Newcastle’s greatest engineers - Ove Arup.
He was born in here on Jesmond Vale Terrace in 1895

On the way there I walked underneath one of his greatest works - the Metro bridge over the Ouseburn Valley in Byker.. – at Ouseburn Farm
