1. Not all students have the privilege to participate in online classes (internet, laptops, name it)

2. Some are fortunate to have the mediums needed to participate in online classes, but still have difficultly to do so.

AND NO IT IS NOT BECAUSE WE ARE LAZY ASSES WHO WHINE ABOUT HAVING TOO MUCH WORK

You're right, students often put their health secondary to their academics but as MCL stated "We put premium to health and safety." Should give at least a bit sense of security if you're concerned with your academics. :)"

There are so many errors in this statement. Don't get me wrong the institution is just doing their job, I get it. I respect it po. I truly do, but the solution you are offering to us is not efficient!

First of all blackboard, i think i don't need to say much anymore. Because look:

Kahit ako na may internet sa bahay, still find it hard to participate in online classes due to connectivuty issues. Is that still my fault?

If ako who is privileged to have the materials needed, pano yung wala? Yung mga umaasa lang sa data at phone?

Don't hit me with "kung gusto may paraan" because I have already thought of ways and I agree with you it is doable. But the common denominator of it all IS THE RISK OF ME HAVING TO GO OUTSIDE.

With the pandemic and all, I don't think that would be a very smart choice. But the fear of failing among us students is so high that we'd do it despite the risks.

EVEN BEFORE COVID-19, students have already sacrificed their health just for the sake of passing!

3. Our paid for good quality education as you so claim. Our paid for face-to-face interaction. Our paid for our misc fees that we hoped that could help us in our laboratory courses.

4. Regarding the ELT, how does it actually work po? Hindi po kasi clear samin mga students, ang sabi lang samin is wala muna deadlines yung mga activities. Atsaka kung i-eextend niyo lang din naman po yung term so the others could catch up, why not just adjust the whole semester?

Pero dahil hindi niyo nga po masyado kinlaro samin, you know better about that than me.

5. "Students may not opt to join."

Why provide a service na not accessible by all? Bakit may mapagiiwanan? If you really do care about our education, then why propose a solution that is imbalance?

Hindi po lahat ng teachers ay uulitin pa ang tinuro nila sa mga nakapagparticipate sa online classes. Self learning na lang ganon? What if hindi talaga maintindihan ng student yung lesson because of unfamiliar terms? Bobo na siya ganon? Bagsak na ganon? Mahirap po maiwan.

6. Lastly po, online class isn't a compatible learning medium for all students. May sari-sarili po kaming pace sa pag-aaral, some of us learn better with face-to-face interaction. (Vid calls aren't included!)

May mga questions kami regarding our activities that need to be answered immediately, pero syempre hindi naman po samin naikot ang mundo so gets namin an hindi agad makakapagreply professor namin. Tho that causes problems/delays in our projects.

Btw this doesn't simply affects students, pati po professor namin. I appreciate their efforts in trying to connect with us, but we experience the same problem po. The internet and materials.

I am not tweeting this for the sake of rant only nor am I attacking your name, but rather I am addressing the problem to you po that I hope you would listen to. Because we, students, really do want to learn but in this way.

Lastly, people are getting scared of the pandemic and how the government deals with it. And I think the added pressure of online class worsens everything. I hope you would hear us out. Thank you po! Stay safe! @MalayanLaguna
