Before I forget this month, I want to at least engage in this new Powerwolf challenge! I have nothing planned for April Fool’s Day, so I should at least be productive and start this.
One: The first PW song I ever heard was In the Name of God (Deus Vult). It was in my YouTube recommended as I was binging Sabaton songs at the time, and I was hooked. Over time, I began to experiment with more PW songs and realized that PW > Sabaton. I’m glad I found PW!
Two: This is a tough one. I’d have to say my favorite Powerwolf song is Higher Than Heaven, as its at the perfect headbanging speed for me, and the opening chorus is enough to get any werewolf hyped and into the pit.
Three: My favorite PW cover has to be Conquistadores, originally by Running Wild. It takes the original and makes it just a bit more “epic” by giving it the old PW treatment! Either that or Night Crawler, originally by Judas Priest, who I am seeing at the Microsoft Theater soon!
Four: The last PW song I heard was Midnight Madonna. Underrated banger ^^
Five: A PW song that always breaks my heart, huh? I’ve got two: Wolves Against the World (Bible of the Beast) and Where the Wild Wolves Have Gone (The Sacrament of Sin). Both power ballads are amazing to reflect on the meaning of life and also great venting songs.
Six: My favorite song from Return in Bloodred has to be Kiss of the Cobra King. Yeah I know it’s the easy answer, fight me. Overall, Return in Bloodred was pretty slow, that’s why Lupus Dei kicked up the speed a few years later.
Seven: My favorite Lupus Dei song is…Lupus Dei. I actually had a hard time choosing between it, Prayer in the Dark, and Saturday Satan, since all three are fantastic tracks. But the title song takes it, since it’s always the final song for live sets (and it’s amazing live 👀).
Eight: My favorite Bible of the Beast song has to be Raise Your Fist, Evangelist. PW rarely performs it live, and it’s a very special track to me. Definitely a motivator for me ^^
Nine: My favorite song from Blood of the Saints is We Drink Your Blood. One of the better live-performed songs and has a great music video.
Ten: My favorite song from Preachers of the Night is not-so-easily Cardinal Sin. It’s hype, it’s moshable, and it’s great to sing. Loudly. It was hard to choose between that and Nochnoi Dozor, another underrated hype machine that’s addicting and amazing to sing as well.
Eleven: My favorite Blessed & Possessed song is Armata Strigoi. Although my favorite PW song overall is Higher Than Heaven, I can agree that Armata Strigoi is the BEST PW song ever made, which there is a difference. Plus I don’t really wanna give duplicate answers this month…
I FORGOT TWELVE AAAAAA

Twelve: My favorite song from The Sacrament of Sin is actually Venom of Venus. I like it more than Incense & Iron because the key change at the end gives it that extra kick that it needs to be a more epic song.
Thirteen: As @AnAnalyticalOwl mentioned earlier, the PW song with the best music video is Demons Are a Girl’s Best Friend. Here is the video for you all to enjoy :)
Fourteen: My favorite live song by PW has to be none other than Armata Strigoi. The interaction by the crowd is nothing short of magical, as shown in this video from Masters of Rock 2015:
Fifteen: A PW song that holds a lot of meaning to me would be Nochnoi Dozor. Among being the most underrated PW song ever, it’s one of the songs I play to get a nostalgic rush to my younger college days, or of my 21st birthday weekend in Las Vegas. I love this song’s memories ^_^
Sixteen: A PW song that needs to be played loud is Sanctified with a Dynamite. It’s got a great opener, and it’s being remastered on Best of the Blessed.
Seventeen: Isn’t this similar to fourteen? Well, a song I’d love to see live would like to be Cardinal Sin. PW performs it wonderfully live, and I’d love to see it myself one day IN THE UNITED STATES.
Eighteen: A PW song I listen to when I am sad is Kreuzfeuer [Live]. It’s a slow and sad song to me, and that’s what I need when I want to vent, but the live version gives it the extra power and “feel” that I need when I’m sad.
Nineteen: I know all the lyrics to a lot of Powerwolf songs, but my favorite is Cardinal Sin. It’s satisfying when I master the fast lyrics and killer notes first try. Really wanna get to hear this song live, too ^^
Twenty: A song I’ll never get tired of is Higher Than Heaven. It’s just that damn good. Really hype and the fast blastbeats energize me and cheer me up almost all the time. Can’t get enough of it. Also really enjoy the orchestral version of it as well.
FORGOT 21 AAAA:

Twenty-one: A PW song that reminds me of someone? Can’t say that I’ve got one for certain. I guess Moscow After Dark does give off some Eastern European vibes which could be reminiscent of someone in my family tree, but I’m not quite sure who.
Twenty-two: A PW song I associate with a particular event in my life would be Living on a Nightmare and Halloween. I’ve played that at my Halloween parties before and I can’t wait to do it again this year.
Holy shit I neglected this thread.

Twenty-three: A PW song that describes how I feel now would be Nighttime Rebel. I’m against a lot of things going on in the world right now and want to rebel against all of them.
Twenty-four: A PW song I like that’s a cover by another artist? NONE OF THEM. COMMUNIO LUPORUM/LUPATUM SUCKS
Twenty-five: A PW song to listen in the morning is Dead Until Dark. It’s uplifting in a way that can help me rise up during the day’s challenges.
Twenty-six: Favorite song with WOAH has to be Kiss of the Cobra King (New Version 2019). Idc if some of you think the old one is better, this one (imo) has more enthusiasm to it and because of the epic influences, as well as it’s faster speed, it’s the superior version.
