I recorded the audio sperately using audacity (free) (fiddling with the gain to avoid clipping), which was a bit of a fiddle to record but came out better. I'm using a blue yeti mic (spenny) but a headphone mic might have been ok (laptop mics seem to be shit).

I recorded everything in one take to avoid editing, with many false starts and it was completely exhausting. Soyez preparé!

From what everyone tells me - audio quality > video quality.

Also, look into the camera!
