"Most sectors in the Swedish economy are bleeding. In the services sector, several companies are completely without demand, abandoned as cautious households have gone home. Manufacturing is struggling with broken supply chains and falling demand."
So the narrative that “Sweden didn’t inact strict government restrictions due to Coronavirus and they’re ok” is a false narrative. It simply isn’t true. They aren’t “ok.” The virus itself is destroying their economy and their per capita infection rate also isn’t ok.
Government restrictions aren’t destroying the economy, the Coronavirus is destroying the economy. The restrictions are trying to reduce the duration of the Coronavirus-induced damage to the economy. Look at Sweden’s economy without restrictions.
