Building Started: 1093
Fun Fact: Later building at the East end of the Cathedral used Frosterley Marble to make decorative columns. Frosterley Marble is actually black limestone, filled with 325 million year old fossils.

Lincoln Cathedral
Building Started: 1072
Fun Fact: There's a famous carving of an imp inside the Cathedral, it's said that it was once a real imp, part of a group causing trouble in the Cathedral, before an Angel came and turned it to stone.

Round 5, Bracket B: Lichfield vs Ely

Lichfield Cathedral
Building Started: 1195
Fun Fact: Some of the stained glass in the Cathedral's windows dates from the 16th century, but actually comes from a now dissolved Abbey in Belgium.
Round 5, Bracket B: Lichfield vs Ely

Ely Cathedral
Building Started: 1083
Fun Fact: Ely Cathedral currently has an on-site a Stained Glass Museum, housed above the south aisle, in the triforium.
