If you& #39;ve been following me here for a while, you might be aware of my association with ASSEFA and Project Kanavu that work with schools and communities of rural Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu.
If you& #39;ve been following me here for a while, you might be aware of my association with ASSEFA and Project Kanavu that work with schools and communities of rural Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu.
Those communities are now facing reverse migration and loss of livelihood. The corona crisis has compounded existing inequalities such as poor access to transportation, essential goods, credit and also irregular income.
Here& #39;s how you can support the 100 families associated with ASSEFA and the 1200+ children their schools serve:

(This emergency fund will complement govt. schemes, which take time to trickle down and reach everyone.)

(A family recovering from months of no income in poorly connected villages, will struggle to afford a fee to send children back to school.)
