These people are absolutely insane. FANFIC that you think is gross does NOT justify stalking people's social media to find their mom's facebook account. What kind of twilight zone is this?
Before I log off to sleep, another point. I'm still doubtful about the "manipulating minors" claim. Why? Because that is a much more serious concern and should be front and center if true. Why didn't they mention that to the mom? Why isn't that the focus of the call out?
They're only focusing on the fanfic this person wrote, which says a lot about the intentions and priorities of these gremlins.

You don't know that person's personal home life and it's heartless to expose them this way. Even if they're an adult, their parents could cut them off financially or disown them. You have no idea the damage you could do and trauma you could cause. Don't ever "out" someone's-
online life to expose that to their irl family, friends, or coworkers, especially over harmless petty crap like FANFIC.

2) If the "manipulating minors" claim is true, again, why is that not the focus off the callout or the thing you alert the mom about? That is more concerning and should take precedent over the fanfic, but you're mainly focusing on that fanfic. Until you provide proof, I call BS.
3) I don't know if the target is in the hospital or not. So far I've only see that one tweet about. BUT the harassers response to it (the "I'm suppose to feel sorry for that b---" gif) speaks volumes. Heartless and cruel and selfish.

5) Writing problematic tagged fanfic harms no one. It makes you feel uncomfy, that's it. Exposing someone's gay fanfics to their family though? That can do immediate, direct, irreversible damage to a person, more damage than any fanfic ever would.
