I hope it will address the misapprehensions people seem to have about some aspects of it. I am not quibbling with the verdict. The jury had to find guilt beyond reasonable doubt by a majority of eight to five and they found themselves unable to do so.

But before you buy into conspiracy theories, please consider this: four of the nine women were civil servants who spoke about what they claimed had happened to them at the time (ie between 2010 and 2014)

#MeToo was built on the notion of women talking to each other and thus finding the strength to speak out. Suggesting that to do so =collusion is extremely damaging.
