The term "philosemite" is a disgusting way of policing allies that has the added "benefit" of portraying Jews as people undeserving of support or love.
And yes, I know all about Christian support for Israel fueled by eschatology. Lumping in every single gentile that is friendly to Jews and Israel with these folks is ridiculous.
