autistic kageyama adhd hinata

i hc socially inadept autistic kageyama x social butterfly adhd hinata & kagehina whose comfort textures/places are the insides of each other’s hoodies

adhd hinata who’s really sensitive to smell + sight x autistic kageyama whos rly sensitive to touch and sound (like a sudden breaking pt: everythings fine until suddenly its TOO LOUD but also hinata manages to never reach this pt for him somehow)

adhd hinata who misplaces things a lot and is always usually found by kageyama digging under every book and mattress and shirt... meanwhile kageyamas holding the thing hes looking for (he found it nicely on the bathroom counter)

+ autistic kageyama being prone to shutdown via auditory sensory overload and hinata learns the signs of it pretty well. knows when to get him out of certain environments/situations. very amusingly both his passion and his bf are very loud

i also hc tobio having slightly picky taste in food cuz he cant stand certain textures. so hinata usually eats that for him, its rly nonchalant and a cute little thing where hinata just knows which fucking textures of food his bf doesnt like

meanwhile one time tobio brought home a new scent of lotion cuz the one they usually use was sold out and hinata gets a bad headache from it. so from then on tobio has a small list of scents to avoid and always tries not to buy scented things unless hinatas there 2 smell it 1st

their stim is playing w the others hands. send tweet. esp hinata he just loves kageyamas hands they r not only nd but also gay.

tobio softaggressively helping his bf beat executive dysfunction... “come on dumbass we have to fold the laundry now” “i dont want to..” “...if you fold more clothes than me ill give u a kiss” “u already kiss me?” “so u dont want it?” “no!” *laundry gets folded v fast*

always holding hands or at least wrists/pinkies at crowded places. 4 hinata its to make sure he doesnt get too distracted by all the visual movement. 4 tob its a grounding thing for auditory stimulation

hinata’s always the one sitting in the crowded subway/train. tob will stand in front of him and face him and bc hes so tall it usually helps to block out all the aggressive ads and people&other visual stimuli that may overwhelm him. plus this way+

its a two for one... his bf smells nice. must i say it: kageyamas smell is a huge grounding thing for hinata.

and touch stim tobio as @tobioshollow said loves feeling hinata’s hair he’ll run his fingers thru it whenver he can and eventually hinata just comes and plops his head onto his bf if he senses that tobs stressed out/overwhelmed/etc

kageyama learning to shut the curtains when hinatas trying to focus so he doesnt see all the cars and/or buildings outside and get distracted.... hinata bugging tsukishima to help find the best noise cancelling headphones 4 tobs birthday (: Tsk.)

tobio getting used to how hinata bounces/vibrates his leg(s) even when theyre trying to sleep and eventually finding comfort in it. also if hina falls asleep before tob hes able to tell pretty much straight away.

hinata not missing a beat whenever tobio’s like ? during a conversation esp if other ppl r involved he always catches on, & will nonchalantly explain whatever he mightve missed but also hinata gets it wrong 50% of the time too.+

if tobio ever says smth too bluntly/smth that comes out wrong, hinata knows what he means 98% of the time & will soften it/make it make sense for others. meanwhile hinata can get unintelligible while excited and tobio will just simplify his speech into three blunt pts. opposites

they have matching tangles like these but in blue (tob) and orange (hina) no one talk me im crying

& perhaps the best part is how their special interest/hf aligns this is truly kagehina and theyll never tire of infodumping to eachother abt “did u see that match yesterday?” and “do u wanna read monthly vball again (for the 10th time)” and theyll never have 2 b self conscious

and everytime hinata gets a new one hes like KAGEYAMA how abt this one? and most time kags is just like Eh. unimpressed. he prefers listening to soap cutting and paint mixing

because he keeps failing w slime hinata goes another route and brings home kinetic sand one day and well. kageyama sandio. hes Mesmerized and binge watches kinetic sand vids & sand cutting vids

bc @tobioshollow has me thinking abt 3rd nds kagehina. well i just think theyd bring their matching tangles w them to tournaments and always just have them in their bags next to each other. and well+

i just think theyd be very good senpais to any nd juniors they may have. theyd let their juniors try out the tangle too. their juniors think its cool. hinata tells them where they can buy it. one of them asks if they got them matching for eachother. kageyama tomatio

& this is from yesterday but thinking abt how adhd hinata who loves tobs hands x autistic tobio who loves hinatas hair interact like... one of tobs hand in hinatas hair while hinas playing w the other one..... until one of them relents and lets the other have their full turn 1st

& well theyre competitive abt that too. but usually one of them will grumble and let the other one take their turn. this doesnt apply if one of them is stressed out/etc and in that case either hina will just plop down and place tobs hands on his head 4 him or+

tobio will just kinda slide hina over to his lap and tangle their hands together with his chin on hina’s shoulder. usually both wordlessly because they know eachother like that.

goodbye the cutest hc is when they start dating and diagnosed nd hinata helping undiagnosed nd kageyama navigate himself and then when they realize how tactile tob is hinata just slowly realizing the reason behind why tob always has his hands in hina’s hair.

and just a huge smile forming on hinas face the next time he feels tobio just mindlessly reach for his hair and tob just “...what” and hinas just like “ so this is why ud always try to grab my head before too?” and tob *grabs* but blushing cuz he didnt realize til now either

but then realizing how sensitive hina is to smell and starting to notice how big of a comfort his scent is to hina it dawns on him that its bc tobios house is one big sensory grounding safety 4 hina
