How about some more West Coast flowers, physically distant friends?

I have you covered.

Look below. 1/

#FlowerReport #COVID19 https://twitter.com/Katja_Thieme/status/1244077078242152448
1) Camellia.
2) Grape hyacinth.
3) Daisy.
4) Rosemary.

All quite common in Vancouver front yards.
A bit rarer: DAPHNE!

I smelled it from 20 meters away. Scanned the intersection where my children and I were standing, looking for where the bush was. Then rushed over and stuck my nose in it.

My children think I’m a little strange.
If today’s flower photos aren’t quite enough for your needs, have a look at these from a few days ago. 4/ https://twitter.com/Katja_Thieme/status/1243215202704707586?s=20
Here are a few more. 5/ https://twitter.com/Katja_Thieme/status/1241514379360653313?s=20
I have taken flower photos each time we’ve managed to go for a walk during this quarantine. Many photos of flowers, not quite so many walks. Here’s another set. 6/ https://twitter.com/Katja_Thieme/status/1240063504750481409?s=20
This is the first flower photo I posted during quarantine. It’s from my own front yard. We did not walk far that day. 7/ https://twitter.com/Katja_Thieme/status/1239704211182379009?s=20
I did not get to post these on what was a cool and overcast day yesterday.

1) Another daphne found my nose. Now I know 3 within walking distance of my home!

2) Magnolia drama.

3) Fig buttercup.

4) More daffodils because I love them.

Note: this thread, up until tweet #7, started in reverse chronological order because I gathered past quarantine flower posts into it.

Since #8 it’s chronological as I decided to add new flower posts to the thread as long as this state of emergency is ongoing. 9/
