Since people always wanna hate on XXXTentcion, I’m gonna make a thread on his discography. He’s by no means a goat, but he’s Top 10 in the 2010s with a solid discography. His posthumous releases shouldn’t be held against him.
Revenge - 6.5/10
His debut mixtape, Revenge is mostly a compilation of past releases, but has lots of highs and lows. It moves from introspective tracks (i.e. “I Don’t Wanna Do This Anymore”) to hype songs (i.e. “RIP ROACH”), not a great flow to it but a very versatile project.

17 - 9/10
17 is an absolutely beautiful debut album. It flows nearly perfectly, with little to no filler tracks. Unlike Revenge, there is little hype songs and it has one, definite, set flow to it. It’s focused on mental struggles, depression, and suicide, and a great album.

? - 7.5/10
His biggest album no doubt, ? is another album with an iffy flow such as Revenge. But it demonstrates Xs versatility as he go from tracks like “Floor 555” to tracks like “changes”. ? is a very solid album with high highs and low lows.

SKINS - 7/10
Skins receives too much hate. While it’s undoubtedly not as good as his previous two albums, X clearly moved into Skins with a clear vision and executed it up to his death. Skins seems to have a tone of acceptance contrary to the depressive tone of 17.

Bad Vibes Forever - 4.5/10
I think this album shouldn’t be held against X because it clearly was thrown together with whatever songs the label could find. It flows horrendously, songs seem executed lazily, feature choices are odd, and there’s no definite tone to it.

To conclude:
With the exception of BVF, X has a very solid and versatile discography. While his cultish fans are a bit over the top, the hate X gets is undeserved as far as his music goes. He’s definitely a top 10 artist for the 2010s.
