Truth be entire told: I do not want to Watch Party, I do not want to Netflix Party, I do not want to Quarantine & Chill. I do not want to pick up forgotten hobbies, try meditation or home work outs. I do not want to do tiktok, Instagram, Facebook nor twitter challenges

I do not want to reconnect with the child in me, update or re-think my 5-year plan (I dont have one). I dont think this is the time to invest in those lifestyle coach sessions, or finally learn how to twerk. I do not want to do any of those things because, you see I am not bored

No, I am not bored nor struggling with social distancing. What I am is furious, enraged, agitated, sad and fed up. What I want is to riot, What I want is to say no, What I want is to demand real change.

I want to riot online, flood the internet with hashtags, tweets, vids and stories about justice, about ending ableism, capitalism, racism, sexism. I want us to demand the resignation of CEOs, politicians, government officials that corrupted us into this mess.

I want to say no to the irresponsible and corrupt European monetary policies, no to the bailouts for banks, multinationals, predatory financial agents and operators. I want to say no to the promise that all will go back to normal soon.

I want to demand a bailout of the people, the full and radical destruction of the capitalist order. I want to demand solidarity with countries, communities and individuals bearing the highest risks from this pandemic and the society that made this possible.

Oh I want so much. SOOO VERY MUCH. I want you to be angry too, riot too, demand too. I wished you could see that your time at home, this time of stopping, is a great time to put an END to this cluster of fuckery that we got ourselves, and many others into.

I can’t imagine a better time to strike, in solidarity with those having to work, those without a home to stay in, those without an income or enough income. What better time to strike until the end of the European concentration camps for refugees?

When will have another opportunity to demand that multinationals pay taxes, billionaires and millionnaires too? When will we demand the end of taxation of labor, and demand the taxation of wealth, of ownership, of capital?

Which other pandemic are you waiting for to demand no less than full universal and global health care? The abolition of capitalism in health care must be done now!

As institutionalized greed on our financial markets are about to destroy huge parts of the worlds real economy, now is the time to nationalise all the banks, regulate financial speculation and persecute the legions of the criminally corrupt finance operators and their enablers.

If now is not the time for radical, subversive action rooted in solidarity and hope, I don’t know when the time will be. Tell me, comrades, allies and co-conspirators, when will be the time?
