THREAD. Okay for #TransDayOfVisibility lets talk about a bunch of amazing trans folx that do fantastic work! Mostly in the realm of game design, but maybe some artists as well :) This will be a thread i add to throughout the day! [1/??]
1. First off we have Beau Sheldon ( @Brie_Beau) a nonbinary-masc game developer that put out some truly amazing games. #TurnRPG ( https://briebeau.itch.io/turn ) is great, it was also my first encounter with pbta style mechanics and 1st with a game that says "combat? who needs it!," ->
The game is intensely community focused, & I believe it has inspired a lot of my community-centric game dev, especially the bigger project i have in very early stages. Beau is a truly fantastic game designer, and I strongly encourage you to pick up Turn RPG & give them a follow.
2. Olivia Hill ( @machineiv) has been a godsend towards getting & inspiring new folx (like me) into game design by direct assistance in the San Jenaro Co-op.
