2/ @syramadad has a doctorate in health science and masters in biotechnology. She has done work for the FBI, oversees special pathogen preparedness and response efforts across 11 acute care hospitals in addition to care facilities and ambulatory care sites

3/ She has a strong background in academia, teaching in graduate, undergraduate and professional programs with courses ranging from advanced microbiology to bioterrorism and biosecurity.

4/ Throughout the #COVID19 outbreak, @syramadad has been speaking publicly about the virus and investing in pandemic preparedness and global health security. She has been an advocate for letting “science speak” and having the facts and data speak for itself.

5/ @syramadad's team conducts a lot of "just-in-time trainings" w/ medical professionals in NY, teaching & updating them on proper practices to care for coronavirus patients as more information from the @CDCgov & public health officials are released
