Writing up an article on how I use @RoamResearch. It's far and away the most compelling tool Iāve used in years.
Using Roam has significantly improved the amount of notes I take, insights I have, and words I write. Itās amazing. #roamcult

Hereās what @RoamResearch has become for me:
1) The place I store notes, replacing the chaotic 'system' I had before
2) A system for connecting thoughts and allowing me to write my own
3) My daily journal
4) My task manager
Thatās nuts.

What's more nuts is that even though Iām getting so much use out of @RoamResearch it doesnāt strain under that weight. Iām using it because it just *works*, allowing me to write what I want and quickly move on while at the same time quickly revealing connections.
Hereās my article on @RoamResearch. I wrote it for people who may have never thought about using a system like this before, who might have looked at Roam and felt like the learning curve is too steep. It isn't! Come join #roamcult! https://drewcoffman.com/roam-research
It was so cool to see all the people who found this interesting / told me they were going to give @RoamResearch a try because of this article. Iāll have to keep sharing my process of using it!

Hereās another nice thing about @RoamResearch: In the screenshot above I accidentally wrote 'Stephen Pressfieldā instead of āSteven Pressfieldā and my mistake meant that I had two separate pages. I changed āStephenā to āStevenā and the pages immediately merged. Boom. That simple.
