Writing up an article on how I use @RoamResearch. It's far and away the most compelling tool Iā€™ve used in years.

Using Roam has significantly improved the amount of notes I take, insights I have, and words I write. Itā€™s amazing. #roamcult
Hereā€™s what @RoamResearch has become for me:

1) The place I store notes, replacing the chaotic 'system' I had before
2) A system for connecting thoughts and allowing me to write my own
3) My daily journal
4) My task manager

Thatā€™s nuts.
What's more nuts is that even though Iā€™m getting so much use out of @RoamResearch it doesnā€™t strain under that weight. Iā€™m using it because it just *works*, allowing me to write what I want and quickly move on while at the same time quickly revealing connections.
Hereā€™s my article on @RoamResearch. I wrote it for people who may have never thought about using a system like this before, who might have looked at Roam and felt like the learning curve is too steep. It isn't! Come join #roamcult! https://drewcoffman.com/roam-research
It was so cool to see all the people who found this interesting / told me they were going to give @RoamResearch a try because of this article. Iā€™ll have to keep sharing my process of using it! šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘
Hereā€™s another nice thing about @RoamResearch: In the screenshot above I accidentally wrote 'Stephen Pressfieldā€™ instead of ā€˜Steven Pressfieldā€™ and my mistake meant that I had two separate pages. I changed ā€˜Stephenā€™ to ā€˜Stevenā€™ and the pages immediately merged. Boom. That simple.
