instructions below, and they are unique to this situation, so pls read

if you've never done Perfume Genie before here's how it works! in another era of my life i was a perfume writer (LOL) but what I love most is to find people new scents that match their moods/memories/needs. I know we are all feeling a lot right now, and we are inside.

SO here's how you play:
1) think of a way u want to feel or a memory or a combo of both, BE SPECIFIC. As specific as you can. In fact, here is your prompt: tell me what you are looking forward to after this is all over, what's giving you hope. I'll find a smell for that.

then i'll link you to a place that has samples. perfume sample sites are (amazingly) still open right now. maybe order a few, if you can spare it -- they are small businesses struggling too. or email the perfume house directly to ask to buy small samples. most will let you!

A good example of how specific to be right now: tell me the names of exact places you dream of going again, foods you miss, fields you once walked in; tell me the song that would be playing in the film, paint me a color palette, give me tasting note
