Gonna thread daily progress here, I think. Should have taken a rest day before the month started but did 25miles on the bike. Officially start tomorrow!
Since failure to plan is planning to fail, mapped out how this month can be accomplished. Screenshot and link here. Not a recipe for fun but solid challenge to keep the mind and body busy.

April 1st: 340 pushups, 120 TRX rows.
April 2nd: biked for 23 miles. Meant to split with running but stayed in the saddle. Will need a long run on the 4th.
April 3rd: 370 pushups, 185 TRX rows. Little ahead of pace on these two, may need to trim and get some miles on foot.
April 4th: rest day. 10 mile run tomorrow so probably some good stretching today.
April 5th: ran 10 miles. Gonna look up a reasonable ruck/run ratio. CVille is too hilly for what I’m trying.
April 6th: 370 pushups, 175 TRX rows.
April 7th: 15 miles on bike, 4 miles rucked. For the 75 running miles target, I'm giving myself 50% bonus on rucked miles, so 15/6 in the tracker.
April 8th: 340 pushups, 180 TRX rows. Think I'm gonna chill on these (well ahead of pace) to give me time for recovery and running miles.
April 9th: biked 15 miles, ran 4 miles. Need a new pair of shoes (feet shouldn't hurt after 4 miles) so probably back to rucking.
April 10th: 6 mile stroll with the weighted vest. Back to the bike tomorrow plus a quick jog so we can return to pushing.
April 11th: biked 25 miles. Excited to give the legs a break tomorrow.
April 12: rest day.
April 13th: 400 pushups. Too much rain today for TRX rows.
April 14th: 6 mile stroll with weighted vest so 9 in the tracker.
April 15th: 25 miles on bike. Calories closer to a third of this.
April 16th: 300 pushups, 300 TRX rows. Trimmed the push count for big jump in rows. Definitely sore, but with room to spend more time on foot.
April 17th: 21 miles biked. Rest of month’s cardio needs to be running focused.
April 18th: rest day. Lotta miles on foot tomorrow.
April 19th: 260 pushups, 220 situps. Timed it poorly and had to stop for Zoom friends call. Probably good to rest.
April 20th: 5 miles with 80lbs on my back, so 9 go in the tracker. Heaviest ruck in a minute, need new shoulders. Haha.
April 21st: 19 miles biked.
April 22nd: 310 pushups, 310 TRX rows. Within striking distance on both goals.
April 23rd: 6 miles rucked with 50lbs and average sub 13min mile pace. 9 into the tracker—gotta hit this target early since I probably can’t workout last three days.
April 24th: biked 26 miles. Exceeded goal for the month—rucking miles for cardio here on out.
April 25th: 310 pushups, 310 TRX rows. Hit my monthly targets on both. 19 miles on foot for a clean sweep!
April 26th: rucked 8 miles so 12 into the tracker. In striking distance on my final category and ready for an ice bath.
April 27th: 340 pushups, 310 TRX rows. Exceeded goal on both. Rest day tomorrow.
April 28th: rest day. Gonna stretch a lot and use ice packs. Crossing the finish line tomorrow!
April 29th: biked 30 miles. Wrapping this month tomorrow with a short ruck!
Somehow have avoided workouts in the rain all month. Not happening on this final day. Haha. About to step off to finish April exceeding every target.
April 30th: rucked 6 miles with 50lbs so 9 in the tracker. Month complete! Totals below:

May 1st: 360 pushups, 280 TRX rows
May 2nd: 30 miles biked.
May 3rd: 370 pushups and 370 TRX rows.
May 4th: 6.65 miles with 80lbs means 12 in the tracker. Definitely using the foam roller on my shoulders and back. First feet hotspots in a minute.
May 5th: biked 30 miles.
May 6th: 400 pushups, 400 TRX rows.
May 7th: biked 26 miles.
May 8th: rest day.
May 9th: 7.5miles with 80lbs on my back. Tired as I am, can’t imagine how exhausting it is to be black in America. #cvillerunswithmaud #IrunwithMaud
May 10th: biked 31 miles. A fresh sleeve of english muffins from the Bread Basket means this cardio is barely maintenance. Ha!
May 11th: 400 pushups + 400 TRX rows.
May 12th: rucked 6 miles with 80lbs. 13min pace on middle 4 miles, 14:15min pace overall. Shoulders are adjusting to the weight--hopefully keep cutting time over the next few weeks.
May 13th: biked 30 miles.
May 14th: 500 pushups.
May 15th: rucked 6.67 miles with 80lbs so 12 in the tracker. Need to switch boots—been using an older pair and rubbing raw even with preventive measures and good socks.
May 16th: rest day. Glad to sleep a bit more and enjoy multiple rounds of ice packs.
May 17th: 310 pushups/310 TRX rows. Didn't budget time well for more, but felt the previous 500 pushup workout some.
May 18th: biked 45 miles for a long birthday ride. Now bring on the pumpkin pie!!
May 19th: 500 pushups and 770 flutterkicks. May need to up my bike goal and trim the ruck goal for this month. My birthday gift from the universe was shin splints. Lol.
May 20th: inadvertent rest day. Planned on 30 mile bike but collapsed during warm up. Hopefully nothing—so lucky to have an in-house doc. Do need to monitor the left knee...possible MCL issues.
May 21st: 500 pushups, 670 flutter kicks. Going to try biking again tomorrow.
May 22nd: rest day. Started using knee brace--seems like slight meniscus tear. I do not recommend getting older!
Putting this thread to bed, unfortunately. Mild meniscus tear—gonna heal up so I can get back to rucking!
