Changed my mind, going to make this a thread where i showcase the beauty and diversity of our Pakistan so people from other parts of the world can also see the hidden gems of Pakistan.

We start up north with Chitral.
Chitral is located in northwest KPK Pakistan and is known for its beautiful natural beauty and Chitral’s ethnic group of people called The Kho people
In Chitral you can climb up beautiful mountains, swim in garam Chasma, or just enjoy the diversity

little bit south you have Sawat. The Sawat valley is renowned for its beautiful landscape located alongside the upper part of Sawat River. Sawat also have historical significance to the Buddhist Religion because its believed Swat was home to the last isolated pockets of Gandharan

The oldest city of Pakistan Peshawar
Dating back to 539 BCE Peshawar has been a important trade city because it links the subcontinent to central Asia.The most famous site is the Khyber Pass.Genghis Khan, Alexander and many other emperors came to the subcontinent via Khyber Pass

North east in the province of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan we have the worlds second highest mountain range “Karakoram” with 8 summits over 7500m
Karakoram is also home to worlds second highest mountain “K2”(8611m)
K2 is the only 8000m mountain that has never been climbed in winter

Hunza Valley located extreme north in Gilgit-Baltistan province of Pakistan is beautiful mountainous valley situated at an elevation of 2,438 meters. Some beautiful place to visit in the Hunza Valley is: Attabad lake, Passu cone hills and khunjerab pass.

Now Skardu in the north
Skardu is a city in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.
Skardu is located at the confluence of the Indus and Shigar Rivers at a elevation of nearly 2,500m
Skardu serve as a important gateway to the eight-thousanders of the nearby Karakoram Mountain range

I normally just do citys
but i have to make an exception and present to you my favourite spot in Pakistan,
“Shangrila Resort Skardu”
This resort is located around a heart shaped lake and on the foothills of Karakoram Mountain range. I will let the picture talk for themselves now

Now Kaghan Valley. Kaghan Valley is located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan and is known for its beautiful mountains, lakes and people. The highest point is the Babusar Pass at 4,170m named after the Mughal emperor Babur who use to pass through here in the 16th century

Now Muzaffarabad
Muzaffarabad is the capital city of Azad Kashmir, Northern Pakistan
Muzaffarabad is located alongside the confluence of the Jhelum and Neelum river
Alongside those rivers lays the breathtaking natural beauty from which Kashmir has got its name “heaven on earth”

Sharda is a small town located in Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir
Located in the upper part of Neelam District alongside the banks of Nelam river and between two mountain peaks Nardi and Shardi overlooking the small town,
Sharda offers some spectacular views and a relaxing atmosphere

Our journey of northern Pakistan ends here
As we say good bye to northern Pakistan i just want to point out that It’s many more places that I haven’t been able to include in this thread
In addition it’s also many places there that are still waiting to be discovered by humans
