Disproving the rumors about the infamous “Bighit Mental Health Survey” of 2017 — a thread
This survey was released in October of 2017. Love Youself: Her was released two months prior in September. BTS has planned this concept long before the survey was ever released.
The survey was 29 Pages with 72 Questions. Of these 72, only ONE question explicitly mentions mental health while only THREE including that one can be related to mental health
This includes questions 70. “I see myself as someone who gets nervous very easily.” 71. “I see myself as someone who is depressed/blue” 72. “I see myself as someone who worries a lot.”
This means only 4.16% of the questions on the survey related to mental health.
5 Questions (6.9%) were related to yourself (your age, what county you live in, etc.) 14 questions (19.4%) questions on BTS/K-Pop (how did you discover them, why do you like them, who do you like besides bts) 6 (8.3%) questions were about how much time you spend on BTS
2 (2.7%) questions were about your favorite BTS songs. 8 (11.1%) were questions about how you spend money on BTS. 13 (18.05%) were about official and unofficial BTS related content. 6 (8.3%) were about concerts and fanmeetings. 4 (5.5%) were about Bts’ fancafe/fanclub.
13 (18.05%) were Strongly Agree to Disagree questions about your personality
I made a list of every single question in the survey. Since it is no longer available, I complied all of these from Cameron Phillip’s YouTube Livestream. If you don’t believe me, go look at it yourself:
In conclusion you’re all dumba*ses who will twist any scenario to fit your narriative. Please get a life.
oh, here’s another thing. The mental health questions were not required to be answered. there was no red asterisk by them, meaning you could have completed the survey without answering these if you were uncomfortable.
additionally: since people like to pretend ly series was a marketing campgain & bts don’t care about mental health: here’s a list of all the songs bts have released prior to the ly series talking ab mental health
