The greatest & most difficult theological truth to grasp is not the various hot topic item most debate, it is fully comprehending the love of God. Our own sin, in this life, keeps us from fully grasping its depths & it will take all of eternity as glorified to mine every cavern.

All of Christian theology overflows from the root of divine love. Creation, recreation, the gospel, Trinitarianism, the church, and even our sanctification as well as our glorification are all fruits that grow out of the Love of God. We all pass over the love of God too quickly.

We’ve become too at ease with such a profound and awesome reality.

This reality leaves angels in awe.

We can only grow in our comprehension of how profound this truth is to the degree we grow in our knowledge of self & the knowledge of God’s holiness.
