During the pandemic, it is illegal to evict someone in the U.S. for not paying their rent.
If your landlord tries to force you out, contact local housing authorities.
Food assistance: many states pay out their food programs on a staggered schedule. If you are not on food assistance, please only take what you need and try to avoid shopping for essentials during the first half of the month. (States vary)
Leave some for others.
If you see the WIC mark on the price tag and you're not on WIC, please get something else.
Common WIC items: cereal, milk, eggs, cheese, dry pasta & grains, 100% juice.
Available brands and labels are limited!
Many schools are offering lunch assistance during this time. Usually elementary schools are the distribution points. If you know someone with kids who is struggling, see if your local elementary is providing meals.
