So as it happens I've had a copy of Hemrich's 2013 book "The New York Nobody Knows: Walking 6000 Miles in the City" on my shelf for the past few years..
..& have been meaning to read it.
In fact, was going to pick it up this month, since the friends that lent it to me had a trip planned to come out from MN this upcoming wknd, & fig'd I'd give it back to them

but ofc they had to cancel their trip b/c of the virus, & now the author of the book is dead due to the virus
