Barbara Spencer& #39;s illness began as just an ordinary head cold.
Days later, the 77-year-old was on a ventilator at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center & fighting for her life against COVID-19.

Marcia Haug: Retired teacher, 90, celebrated as Rose Parade devotee, lover of nature and travel.
She died March 22. Alina Banut of Southeast Portland is 42 and healthy. She had to spend days on a ventilator after contracting coronavirus. Lynn Bryan, 70, was a country-western dancer, an Army vet, a father & friend. He was the first person in Oregon to die of coronavirus.
