Went outside to catch my breath and found this four leaf clover. It’s not the normal shape; it’s special. I like it even more. I think this is a sign that everything will be okay.

Here they all are! ❤️☘️✨
Fun fact: apparently my mom used to be able to just bend down and find four leaf clovers, too. My dad could never find them.

I suspect we are fairies.

Day 4 of hunting for four leaf clovers
4 four leaf clovers across four days 🍀
So if I told y’all I found 2 more...
Also just as a note, I spend no more than ~60 seconds looking for a clover.

I feel like if you look too hard you won’t find them. I just sort of run my hand over a patch of them and there it is!

🍀
I didn’t find a clover yet today, but MY DAD (who hates being left out and was really sad bc he’s never found one) DID. He is very happy now ❤️🍀
I want to write something about the simple joy, pleasure and comfort of doing something so simple as searching for four leaf clovers during a pandemic. Need to search for a home for it
Might have to be a blog post though 🤷🏾‍♀️ oh well
YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS:

I found a FIVE leaf clover!!!

It looks like perhaps a two three leaf clovers grew too close to each other and then fused. But there are five leaves on this stem!!!
The five leaf clover is the seventh clover I’ve found. Seven is the number of perfect and competition.

While the five clover probably means something on its own, i believe it might need to mark the end of my little quests, or at least this iteration of them.
Back to my thoughts when I found the second one, something is trying to speak to me right now so I need to listen.

Gonna search the meaning of finding so many four leaf clovers and a five leaf-er.
I know I said I wasn’t going to look for these anymore but I honestly just looked down and saw it.

Also reminder that I wrote about how searching for four leaf clovers has been helping me cope: https://blackgirldoesgradschool.com/2020/04/04/coping-and-clovers/
