My take:
Knowing his very close ties to senior Iran regime officials, Molavi was killed due to growing internal rifts & to keep a lid on state secrets.

However, why has Western media (MSM) remained utterly silent in this regard.

The name Jamal Khashoggi comes to mind.

@JZarif used the Khashoggi case to dodge questions about Iran’s human rights violations.

Iran apologists/lobbyists constantly used the Khashoggi case to launch a frenzy.

Zarif and the Iran apologists/lobbyists crowd have remained completely silent on the Molavi Vardanjani case.

Why? Rest assured they have strict orders from Tehran.

And it is quite interesting how MSM also remains completely silent in this regard.

The volume of criteria pushed out by these “Iranian” voices about Khashoggi is completely non-balanced in comparison to their deafening silence about Sattar Beheshti, Zahra Kazemi, Kavous Seyed Emami & many other Iranian activists/reporters imprisoned & killed under torture.

This same crowd refuses to criticize Iran’s malign activities across the Middle East and you would never hear them describe Tehran as “the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.”
